Rove motorhomes Gunthorpe are proud to present for sale this stunning Widax Solaris XL. This Solaris is perfect for all situations whether visiting sites or going off grid. Based on the Citroen chassis with 2l diesel engine and a 6 speed manual gearbox. The cabin also benefits from air conditioning, cruise control, rear camera and Bluetooth.

The Solaris XL offers a highly flexible design for a family of 4 or a couple wanting options. With long bunk beds in the rear (up to 6ft 8!) and a full double bed in the front sleeping accommodation is excellent. There is a fully equipped kitchen with ample storage and worktop space; it includes a full height fridge/freezer, oven, grill, microwave and sink. Lounging is taken care of in the front where the traveling seats easily convert to sofas and the cab seats spin round to face the rear; plenty of space for 4 to relax and entertain. The washroom is a full wet room with shower, toilet  and storage; it also has the addition of a second door to be accessed externally where you can use the shower externally or even enter for a quick wash down to avoid walking the habitation area. There is also dedicated garage space under the bottom bunk and these bunks also adjust to allow greater storage solutions. This example benefits from habitation air conditioning, an excellent bonus for those summer trips or times on the continent.

Moving outside you have an awning to offer a lovely additional space to enjoy. There is also a solar panel to keep batteries topped up. The Solaris is powered by the Truma i-net system for heating and hot water, electric and gas…or both. It really does have it all!

We visited the Selston site first to view a camper van we had seen on line and although the van didn’t meet out needs the staff couldn’t of been more helpful. We sat down with Charlie and put together a profile of the van we were looking for, including our budget. We went away hopeful that we would be found a van before long. Charlie kept us informed of the new stock coming in by email and a weekly phone call and although Charlie had moved to the Gunthorpe site he found us the perfect van. Since our initial visit we have met members of the wider team at Gunthorpe (Sam, Charlotte, Guy and a few of the men from the workshop) and everyone has been amazing and so helpful, including providing copious amounts of coffee. It will be a couple of weeks before we collect ‘Doris’ and start our travels but It’s 5 stars from us.

What a fantastic company the staff so friendly & informative the whole process was fantastic. We originally dealt with Jamie but he transferred to another branch but left us in the capable hands of Guy & Charlie. We collected our motorhome on Friday but Gut sent a video handover on Thursday which is brilliant because although he went through everything on collection I am sure we will forget something when we set up on site. I would like to thank Jamie, Guy, Charlie, Charlotte & not forgetting the preparation staff for all their help in our purchase
